Momma Sunshine came into our rescue program on April 06, 2013. Momma Sunshine came from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office along with 62 other horses and 3 Llama's as a severe cruelty case. Seminole County investigated an animal cruelty case consisting of over 120 animals, where several carcasses were found. Sadly, for many horses, help came too late. We were able to assist Seminole County and save 63 horses and 3 Llama's from neglect. Momma Sunshine is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Momma Sunshine is estimated to be 12 years of age. Momma Sunshine is a body score of a 2. She is infested with internal/external parasites, has rain rot and is mildly anemic. Momma Sunshine foaled a Beautiful, Palomino, Friesian X, Colt on April 21, 2013. Momma and Baby Bucket are both doing great. Baby Bucket is full of life and personality. All of the horses are doing great and improving daily. Many have a long road of recovery ahead of them, while many others will be coming available for adoption soon. Momma Sunshine is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention! She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Momma Sunshine & Bucket will be coming available for adoption soon. Update July 2013 Momma Sunshine and Bucket are now seeking their forever, loving home to call their own. Momma Sunshine is super sweet and loves attention. Bucket has a big personality and loves to play and be loved on. Both of these sweethearts will make someone excellent horses. Momma Sunshine is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. She stands around 14 hands tall. These two are super sweet and smart. Momma Sunshine stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Momma Sunshine has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Momma Sunshine and Bucket have been adopted to a wonderful family in Muscatine, IA. These sweethearts will be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in their forever, loving home. We are thrilled that these special two will receive the love and attention they deserve from their forever, loving family.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
